OK so, the title is a bit odd. Batman in his own stuff not including Justice League and other cross overs and mainly through knowledge of Television.
So this is removing the suspension of disbelief. DON'T READ THIS IF YOU JUST LIKE BATMAN AND DON'T WANT TO RISK RUINING HIM.
So the path is like this.
1) Batman has made Gordon break the law.
Batman is a vigilante in most forms I see him, and he is breaking the law. Working with a commissioner the way he does without being a law enforcer he can get Gordon in trouble. If he is a law enforcer he has state he is when he is making the arrests.
2) Money trail
The only way batman can have all his gadgets is through Bruce's money. He would have to either buy it all which would leave a trail that can probably be traced. Or he steals it from Wayne Industries which would have records of them, and still would have the tech there. Anyone who takes this trail probably would locate who he was.
3) Electric bill
So Batcave alone must be high as hell on the electrical pull. Now that much power being drained probably raises questions. However Batman has his own private generator. How much power does that cave need? I am going to assume a pretty large draw for everything in there. No one notices this secret power supply? It can't be a tiny generator people keep for flooding. This though I can believe not being noticed.
4) His villains.
Yes most are crazy people that do what they do many through Batman or other masked figures. Though makes you wonder what if the villains are like actors paid to do their bits, they play crazy commit crimes, draw attention to certain things. Batman saves the day, he gets seen as a hero, politicians or companies get to fix the attention at hand, the villain goes to Arkham which they could basically be on vacation until it's their time again.
5) The sidekicks.
No one ever questions why Robin suddenly exists with Batman about the same time Bruce Wayne gets an adoptive son (one biological). It just that simple, no one questions it I think a lot of people know who Batman is they just let him think it's a mystery.
6) Corruption
Friend of mine said he could just cover up his expenses. Well he could but I don't see Bruce Wayne doing that, that is expensive and against what Bruce does usually digging politicians and businessmen covering up their activities. Granted Mr. Wayne could be a hypocrite but then he'd be a hypocrite.
Is this debunked by it being a super hero? I guess it is, but what if Batman is just this political puppet actor, who lives this fantasy fighting other actors. Batman feels good about himself, Villains get paid, companies and politicians can advance properly or hurt competition, and the public gets an icon.
What do you think of Batman just being a hoax? Could you believe it or do you think Batman could be the real deal?

Coma theories: Pokemon and Adventure time
POKEMON Coma theory
I did not come up with this theory but it's a common one. Remember in the first episode with Ash being an underdog and everything kind of going wrong. Slept in, didn't get Charmander, Squirtle or Bulbasaur. Got a rebelious pickachu and strucked by lightning while attacked by Sperrows.
The common theory is Ash was knocked into a coma and about every single episode since then is all in his mind.
NOW for the second thing, Adventure time. Adventure Time had a similar theory and some still do.
Now this is probably a theory for those who haven't seen much or have not seen certain episodes. The theory was Finn was in a coma and everything would be in his imagination. That is completely understandable at first glance a lot of Ooo looked like it was just a world of a child.

But thanks to progression in the show has created two branches.
1) It is all in the distant future after WWIII causing massive mutations and bringing magic to the world. Thus becoming what it is now.
2) Finn is still in a coma however his mind is developing a larger world then we give him credit for.
Foster's home for imaginary friends a mad house?
So I thought of this the other day. That show foster's home for imaginary friends.
Berry is pretty simple. A psychotic girl, who is obsessed with some people she falls in love with. When she was kicked out of the house it may be Bloo got a restraining order and she had to be sent to another facility.
Cheese is probably a severally mentally challenged child who has condition capable of placing him inside of the foster home. Instead his family keeps care of him themselves to keep him close and possibly out of public attention.
It has been stated in the show. Kid's can bring imaginary friends to life. Now, what if that was not true. Instead Mac and Bloo are friends with some unstabiltiy. Bloo could be an extreme narcissist who has anger issues, and other things that could make him a unfit for a normal society. While Mac could be delusional and see some people as things they are not or imaginary friends. Mac mental condition is not that bad and possibly fought off by medication. So he has to make daily checks to 'Foster's home' and to visit his friend Bloo.
Mac may also have a condition which is triggered by sugar. He because a psychotic creature when on sugar. this could just be a sugar rush to the extreme but it's possible that his medication may react negatively and create more vivid hallucinations when sugar is in the system.
Franky Foster is a nurse maid and possibly a big person in charge. Her behavior is she enjoys the building and likes the inhabitants but she like many people is annoyed by others from time to time.
Mr. Herrimen is either a crazy person who he thinks he is extremely sophisticated but won't wear pants. OR he could be a major administrator and Franky's boss with a large mustache.
Madam Foster, is either the woman in charge or an old patient and Franky works there to see her crazy grandmother.
Edwardo could be a large hairy man, who speaks Spanish, but has a crippling paranoia and possible anger issues. As we see in the show he is a big coward and does go on rampages when something seems wrong.
Wilt could be a really tall man who is physically deformed. In a movie it's shown his arm was crushed and his eye busted. It is possible he had something take his eye and arm. Add on the fact he may have OCD or something making him be sorry for everything and a walking doormat.
Coco could be a crazy woman who may be rich. She may go around buying things and giving them to random people as gifts, or she is a kleptomaniac who likes to take random objects and leave them around.
Dutchess may be a former wealthy woman, who went crazy when loosing all her wealth making her believe she is still wealthy and act like she still has money.
Mac's mother may be a normal woman who just wants her son to be OK. Bloo being a possibly more dangerous person then Mac, she would want him and Bloo seperated.
Goo is probably a crazy girl I don't think this is even hidden in the show. With a similar condition to Mac, and she may have a less severe condition then Mac so she doesn't have to return daily like him.
Terrance, I see him in two ways for this theory. 1) He refuses to accept Mac is crazy at all and wants to keep him away from Foster's home afraid they'll make him seem crazier. 2) Terrance could have a bigot mindset and see someone crazy as a hindrance on humanity, he may torture Mac because he thinks Mac is an impure human.
